I have pieced 225 x 2 Inch hexagons by hand, then I appliqued it onto a sheet. After that I cut the backround fabric out, so I could remove the last row of papers. After that border of white linnen, I added a 2 Inch stripe of the left-over fabrics, and finished it off with another stripe of white. The top is 1,50 m x 1,70 m, and that was my practice piece of hexagons. It was fun once again. Yes, it is a lot of work, but I like to see how the piece grows, and I wanted to use all of my Tilda fabrics in one project, thats how my idea with EPP came about. I glued the fabric onto the paper this time, like Sue Daley shows in her videos, and I must say, I like that technique. And in my next post I will to show you what I plan on sewing next.
